FUTLOX (“we”) operates the football knowledge game at futlox.com. This page explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
Account data you provide (email, username, display name, password hash via our auth provider), gameplay and ranking data tied to your account, social data you create (friends, messages, invites), and technical logs needed to run and secure the service (for example IP-derived rate-limit keys and error diagnostics). We do not sell your personal data.
How we use data
We use data to provide gameplay, rankings, multiplayer rooms, social features, fraud and abuse prevention, and product reliability. First-party product analytics may store visitor/session cookies (fx_vid, fx_sid) and page paths for operational reporting. On production we may also use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-87PKL0PLCM) for traffic and acquisition metrics. Analytics events use non-sensitive categorical names — never message contents, passwords, football answers, or account identifiers.
Sharing
We use infrastructure and auth providers to host the product. Public profiles show only the limited fields the product intentionally exposes (for example username and public ranking signals). We do not publish your email or private moderation metadata.
Your choices
You can update profile fields in the product, sign out, and contact us about account deletion requests. Locale preference is stored in a cookie (FUTLOX_LOCALE) and may sync to your profile when signed in. We do not enable Google Signals, remarketing, or ads personalization for FUTLOX analytics.
